What a great Big Sister!

B-Day Party!!!

Max went to a Birthday party Feb. 21st for Kensy Guest who turned 2 years old. It was lots of fun, even if Max was the only boy. Max was a very good boy and so handsome.

The day started out a little ruff, trying so hard to get him to take a nap before the party at 1:00 but he just wouldn't! So we said "fine, skip it!" and off to the party we went.

It was great to see our friends Kelly, Kevin, Kasey and Kinsey Guest again. We haven't seen them for about a year! There house looks great and the party was a blast! They had lots of yummy treats and one of those blow up castles in the front yard for jumping. All the kids had static in their hair that made it stand up in all directions. The kids were great, all ages and personalities, one girl was a bit older and tried to help Max jump in the castle. She also protected him from the flying limbs of other children. Kelly always does such a good job with the themes, this theme was "The Big Comfy Couch" a show on GPB. Both sisters were dressed as characters and Kelly had a sofa decked out like the one from the show. We ate, bounced, chased dogs, ran around, rode a tinker-bell 4 wheeler, bounced some more, played in the fountain a tiny bit - ate another brownie then went home.

Once we got home Max decided he was ready for his nap around 4PM and slept till 9PM! then dinner and back to bed at 10:30 PM All I can say is thank goodness it was Sat.!

I promise to post this weekend...

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope you all had a sunggely happy day out there! We did! I entered a contest to win a Bon Vivant Gift basket and wanted to enter more than once so I entered Ben to and guess what! BEN WON!!! We didn't really know what would be in the basket so it was fun to dig thru all the goodies. They delivered our wonderful valentines basket to us yesterday. The Tulips are from Ben. Such a nice way to get flowers, I can plant them and enjoy them every year.

We also pulled out a toy we had saved since Christmas. We had so many wonderful things and some sorting and storing to do after christmas so a few toys were put away unopened to save to a rainy day. This toy is so cool. colorful cylinders for nesting and stacking. He had a blast with them.

We also watched Juno finally we are like 2 years behind the rest of the movie watching world but catching up. I love the sound track! if you get a changed to check out some of the songs on itunes you should. There are some very cool remakes.

Max after a bath before PJ's, stories and nite nite. He looks so cute and sweet I had to take his picture.

Hummus mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

We had fun last weekend with Mike & Ron, aka MeMike & Pops! They brought an adorable little book called Grandpa's Briefcase that has lots of fun things to open, turn and flip. It has cardboard glasses that Max enjoyed trying on. He REALLY enjoyed Pops blowing up the woopy cushion and squeezing it to make a silly noise.

We had a nice lunch at a local cafe and I'm happy to report that Max has gotten his appetite back. He enjoyed scooping peanut-butter out of his PB&J and ate most of it then used some as hair gel. After we came back home Max showed off his buddy Elmo.
