The weather has been so nice an cool lately we have been going outside after I get home. We enjoy the swing and then walk around picking up sticks, rocks and pine straw. We look at all kinds of plants and brids and then we go to the front yard and visit the little man under the tree and the lantern lights. Max has some great landscaping ideas!

got anymore cupcakes?

My New Car

All tuckered out, Max too

Yea Max is One!

I had so much fun planing this party. It was so special to me, that I can see why so many people end up getting a pony, clown and petting zoo for their little one's. Ours was small but really wonderful with just close friends and family.

I think the food turned out great, not too much not too little. A Friend sent an edible arraignment of fruit that was beautiful and a big hit. Mike and Ron brought a wonderful pasta salad, Maggie brought the ice, cups and soda. Ben and got a bunch of cupcakes in all different colors and a veggie tray. Thank to everyone for helping out with the food and supplies.

We all had fun watching Max and Adrian playing together. They were the only kids and got to be the center of attention. Adrian is quite the talker. Max really likes Adrians Dad Wahn.

Thanks to everyone for driving such a long way to come to Max's party. No one traveled less than 1 hour to be with Max and we really appreciate it. We even had one couple drive all the way from Alabama! And no birthday would be complete without a big Thanks for all the great gifts, we will all be enjoying them very much.

Gosh! has is been a year all ready?

A year ago today our little monkey was finally here and I was heavily medicated and Ben was exhausted running between the two of us. We made it! We made thru the 1st year and all those changes and events and we all survived! YEA us!

We are having a very small get together tomorrow for Max's Birthday. I'm excited for him to have the experience of a birthday. We have been signing the happy birthday song to him for a few weeks now so hopefully he will like it when the crowed sings for him tomorrow. I'm excited for him to eat a cupcake and play with new toys. We will be sure to video and photograph and post them.

Happy Birthday My Little Angel
Thanks for making me a Mom and my Husband a Dad
Thanks for making us special, our life full, and our future so very exciting.
We are so proud of you and will forever be your biggest fans!
we love you!

Anna's New Office, Greater Georgia Printer

I finally got photos of my work place. I know it isn't as cute as Max but I like it. Everything is very industrial and a bit dirty but that is the environment and I still love it! I have an office for the first time in my life and here it is - isn't it beautiful! My Desk is metal with a laminate top - probably from the late 70's, very retro as is the monitor but the computer is new. There are 3 different areas with big printers, they printer newspaper and all other kinds of stuff. It's really cool to see the newsprint going thru the machine. We get free papers and stuff mostly local publications. I'm learning the latest graphics software and everyone is super laid back.

Happy Birthday Gramma Maggie

We had a great time last weekend celebrating Gramma Maggie's Birthday. We went to the Georgia Botanical Gardens here in Athens. They have a nice indoor air-conditioned garden, thank goodness. We walked thru the garden looking at all the exotic orchids and tropical plants. Then Max treated us all to a nice lunch. After lunch we took a short stroll outside. We saw some interesting and beautiful artwork in the gallery by Robert Creamer. He scans flowers and such on a giant flatbed scanner very unique and beautiful. Here is a link about How he does it and here is one for his gallery. PS - I think Max looks so cute with his hat on.

This is Max's buddy Amber. Amber's Mom and I worked together in Madison while we were pregnant and had our babies a few weeks apart. It is so cute to watch them play together.
