I attempted to take some more photos of Max. I was excited that he had his eyes open and was awake and I tried to take that opportunity to get some shots. This time we used black velvet to really make Max the focal point. They turned out so different than the others, mainly because his body and head are closer to the camera than his arms because of what he is laying on. They end up making his head look big and his hands small. The facial expressions are fun, he looks so serious most of the time. If you click on the photo the get super huge! enjoy!

Homecoming

Boswick United Methodist Church had Homecoming on the Sunday the 23rd and Max got to meet lots and lots of people. He was so good, we were very proud! He let Grama Olsen hold him and show him off to all the congrigation. She held him up in church and introduced him and everyone clapped - he had his 1st applause! Everyone said he looked like a little man and commented on how soft his hair is. It was like his own little introduction to the world party!

Video Conferencing

I had to share these screen shots Ron took because I think it's so neat to see the interaction with the screen in screen pictures. We have been conferencing with Mike and Ron, Gabe, Becky, Finn and also have my mom set up to conference as well. This is such a great tool for those family members who are in different cities or states and it's free! Most computers have built in cameras now and we just use instant messenger. Lot's of fun! If anyone else would like to conference just let us know!

One Month Old!

Max is one month old, can you believe it! They grow up so fast!
We decided to save a little money and do our one month photos at home. Below are a few of them. I did a little reaserch on google to get some ideas. Then we set up on the dinning room table so we could use the light from outside. The flash from the camera makes everthing look so flat. Anyway I hope you enjoy looking at them, we had a great time shooting them!

Just a Swangin'

Man I love this swing! A must have for all new borns. It has a Papason seat that cradels Max so his head doesn't flop around. He loves it too as you can see. Most of the time when we put him in it he calms way down or falls asleep. It has the cutes little birdy, dragon fly and buterfly on top with some kind of tropical leaf and the music sounds like a music box. It also makes rain forest sounds or crickets. It has a mirror in it and it's fun to wach Max get a look at himself everyonce in a while.

Our 1st Restaurant!

Max went to his 1st Restaurant today, Loco's Bar and Grill, Athens, GA. He was so good the entire time. He just slept in his Grama Olsen's arms. Fran had to protect his head from's Dad's elbow just in case Dad lost control of it. We thought is was so sweet and cute of her to do that we had to take a photo. So here is her protecting Max's head from Grampa's rouge elbow!

Thanks Grama & Grampa Olsen for a wonderful Lunch!!!!!

Thanks to my Friend Brett for the cute outfit! He loves it!

1st Photo shoot at Home

We tried to do some cute photos here at home for an announcement picture. I think I need to work on some better lighting but wanted to share some of these because they are so cute. I love the one that looks like Max is looking at the dog's face.

Max will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and he is starting to have a lot more awake time durring the day and sleeping more at night. Ben and I are trying to come up with some kind of schedule so we can trade off here and there. Also we have a bottle question for those parents out there. There doesn't seem to be much informaiton on how to store a sterlized bottle? Can we just throw it in the cabnet with the cap on with all the other dishes? They seem to take forever to dry and we don't want to put the lid on while they are wet. I'm sure we aren't finding anything because it isn't that big of a deal but we would love to hear how you store your bottles.
