Okay, so the house was a mess but Max was so cute I had to take some photos. We had just gotten back from a shopping trip and brought him in asleep in the seat. He woke up and Ben took him out and put his hat on him backwards. What a cuteie!!!!

My Grandpa, Robert Guy Wills

With my Grandmother Wills passing I was inspired to scan all of the WWII photos and other WWII stuff I have. I created a separate Flickr account as to not confuse them with Max stuff. I'm not finished but here are the 1st hundred. Some of the messages Grandpa wrote to Grandma on the photos and postcards are very sweet.

Play Date!

Max and I had a play date June 19th with Amanda and Amber. I've just now had the time to post the photo's. Amanda is one of my old work buddies and Amber her daughter was born just 5 weeks after Max. It was so great having a pregnant buddy at work! Now we are both home with our little angles and decided to get them together for the first time. They were very cute together, kept trying to feed each-other toys - Amber is a doll! I hope we get to have another play date soon.

My Grandmother of 98, Mary Valley Wills passed away Friday. Maggie and I will be driving to VA for the funeral Sunday coming back late Tuesday. She was a wonderful grandmother! She had a great southern accent - not country but southern and it was beautiful. She was very well spoken, well read and very intelligent. I spent a few summers with her and Grampa. When she hugged me she would say, "love, love, love". When she dressed in her floor length nightgown and robe she would say "toodoon" and it always made me laff. So I imagine her in heaven with new beautiful wings saying Toodoon!

There is one cabinet with out a lock and he found it. We figured if there was going to be one cabinet Max could get into the tupperware cabinet was a good one.
Cry it out is what they call it. We have been working on it since we got back from the beach. We watch the monitor 3 times a day and our little man cry himself to sleep. Sometimes we give in and one of us will go get him. He is kinda funny to watch sometimes when he isn't breaking my heart ;o) He will stand then bow his head, then hang for a while then sit (all while he is crying) then finally lay down and repeat.

I know you guys can see me

Why me

I guess I am tired

I'll just lay here for a little while and get my strength back

Growing up fast

Well we have been back from the beach now for 4 days and we are still not completely unpacked yet. Maybe because Max got a cold or maybe because I have been trying to figure out this darn 3D puzzle from carnival night.

Max didn't cry it out at all at the beach and we are having trouble getting him to sleep in his crib now that we are home. Cry it out has gone as long as an hour and 30 min. and that's just too long for us. Then we noticed Monday night that he has a runny nose and is teething. So.... feeling sorry for the little guy he is back in our bed sleeping somewhat peacefully with Mom and Dad. He is also getting so much better at walking.

I have a 2nd interview today at Greater Georgia Printers to test my computer skills - NERVOUS!!! I have been practicing and doing InDesign tutorials so hopefully they will see what they are looking for.

Johnson Beach Trip 2008

Well we had another great Beach trip. Ben's side of the family goes on a beach trip together ever year. The last few years we have been going to Hilton Head but this year we decided to go back to Ocean Isle, NC. We all stayed in the same house they have stayed in year after year. We also invited Wahn & Gloria and there son Adrian to join in the family fun. Wahn is Ben's business partner and Adrian is just 1 1/2 months younger than Max. We had fun getting the babies in the pool and ocean. To see all the vacation photos click here to go to our flicker account. Baby's crying so I better go.
