I"m not sure how I feel about Michael Jackson and his life an death but I do love Thriller!!!!!

I Fell like my blogging is going so very slow but there isn't much going on lately. Except for the poop ball story and I don't Picts or anything......

Some things have become easier with an almost 2 year old, like changing diapers standing up. I remember Ben and I reading about parents changing diapers while the kid was standing and thinking "no way! standing up!?? how does that work is that even possible!?" But sure enough it's possible and really easy unless you have a surprise poop like we did Saturday at the park.

I stood Max up in the backseat to change what I thought was a #1 diaper. When I undid the diaper a Surprise poop ball rolled out and down into the back seat! YUCK! Oh no NOW what! I get the diaper wrapped up and then try to get Max to bend so I can wipe him. Bless his heat he didn't understand and did not comply! Bend over so - NO. Okay - good grief! so I do the best I can getting him clean all the wile I can't stop thinking about where the flying poo went and praying that it went somewhere we can get it in this 98º weather. Armed with a wipe in hand I found it and it was reachable could have been a lot worse!

Parker Rose Johnson

Nate and Beth had a gorgeous redheaded baby girl on the 15th. She's an angel straight from heaven. We haven't gotten to meet her yet, Max has a stinkin day care cold! BLURG. I can't wait to see her in person! I'm so excited for them! They have been very patient in waiting for this little flower and she is finally here!

If I could get sentimental for a second. I have to say it has been one of my great honors to watch someone grow up. It's not something I thought about in the process but now that I have seed Jeremy (my nephew) grow from a baby to a man I feel so lucky to have witnessed something so special. And now I feel lucky and excited about seeing these other little ones, and my own child, grow up right in front of my eyes. If I blink I might miss it take a million photos.

Well here is our 1st Batch of Vacation photos.

Gosh my husband is an amazing photographer and we had an amazing time. Max really got to experience the beach and pool and family this year.

The drive took us about 7 hours this year because of the little one it's hard to drive straight thru. He had a melt down about and hour away from the beach so we stopped into a McDonalds and got coffee's and a happy meal. He must have been really hungry because he ate 1/2 of everything plus we scored a cool new toy that occupied him for a good 20 min. Oh yea! and they accidently made us 2 more coffees we got for free - so we were good and wired for the rest of the day.

We were the last ones to arrive - fashionably late darling! It was great to see everyone and everyone looked great! It was especially nice to see Joyce, Mema's sister. The last time we saw her was Zachs wedding.

Our first adventure to the pool went as expected, fear and trepidation. The 2nd day after watching Fin do so well and taking a few practice jumps Max decided to jump in without anyone there to catch him! I was in the pool and he had a PFD on but he ran to the deep end and leaped. He held his breath and I got to him quickly so all was well Thank God! The rest of his pool time was all good times. He jumped a bit more, always making sure someone was there to catch him but spent most of his time on the ledge with toys or the top step.

Batch One of Beach 2009

I know yall are waiting for the beach photos but I keep getting distracted! and I HAD to share these adorable photos of Max and Amber on their playdate from early spring. It was a fun day. Amber has so many cool toys that I even enjoyed playing with them! I came home saying "Ben we have got to get this thing that blows these balls up in the air it is awesome!"

Amber and Max are very close in age, I think Max is just 4 or 5 weeks older. Ambers mom, Amanda and I worked together at Avado. It was really nice not being the only pregnant person!!! Now when we can we try and get the kids together to play.

Ben is an offical mac programer as of a few weeks ago him and Wahn started JakeWare and have two aps in the store now. If you have a iPhone you have to get them! If nothing else so you can say you know an apple programer!

We had a amazing time at the the Beach this year. Ben has all the super-duper photos and I'll be sure to load them up asap. Max had fun on the beach and in the pool and with all his cousins. Everything was fun fun fun!

Winterville Park

I had no idea this awesome park was right down the street from our house! It's only a 7 min. drive away and so clean and pretty!
