We wanted to get a shot of Max's eye color because they look so dark in all his photos everyone thinks they are brown. His permanent eye color will not fully develop till he is 12 months old I think.

Fun with Photo Shop
Ben got Photo Shop working on my computer this weekend. It has been so long since I messed with it I'm really slow but enjoying the refresher course. There are lot's of great photo's on Flicker that I can use like this beautiful flower I found. This is a photo of Max at 1 min. old in the operating room. I liked the way he fit so perfectly in the flower. If you haven't been to see our Flicker account lately please check it out by clicking on this photo.

Mike & Ron's Retirement Party
All the siblings put together a retirement party last weekend to celebrate the beginning of the next big adventure for Mike & Ron. They have both been into pottery for quite a while now and are planning on doing it quite a bit more. Their basement has been converted into an amazing studio where they realize all their artistic dreams. The 1st photo in this series is a cake made to look like a pot on a wheel. The cake lady even made all the little tools that go along with it. The centerpiece made quite an impression on all the guests. It was nice, as it always is, to hang with family and enjoy each-others company and catch up a bit on what is new. The last 2 photos are Pete and Laura and the gift they made for Mike and Ron. They are such a nice couple and I was happy to finally meet them in person and be inspired by their gift.

Sick Day
Max caught a stomach bug that he must have picked up at the Athens Mothers Center Friday. He started crying around 1AM Sunday morning and when I picked him up he thew up bad! I cleaned him up and put him back to bed then took a shower myself and he thew up again. He continued to perg on and off till about 4AM the next morning (Monday). All in all it wasn't that bad, he only got sick every 4th or 5th feeding so he was absorbing some liquid and was never in danger of getting too dehydrated. He never ran a fever just a little hot so we gave him some tylenol for comfort. The saddest part was the dry heaves, poor little guy was quite a trooper though! Ben took these photos while I was at jury duty today. Max slept a lot! You can really see how Max is feeling in these photos. I think Ben and I might have caught the bug too. bumer! I hate seeing my guys sick but I'm glad it's nothing too serious.
